Historical Walk Street Spanish, Venice
Two simultaneous projects both driven by site sensitivity, the first project is a second story addition and 1st floor remodel of an existing 1920’s Spanish bungalow. Particular care was given to the marriage of the first and second floors, adding needed space, and honoring the original scale and design. Original details were preserved and replicated where necessary to add historical integrity throughout.
The second project is the introduction of a new floor in an existing oversized garage, yielding a cozy and inviting Accessory Dwelling Unit for family and friends. Special considering was taken to create a space that is inviting and human-scaled.
