An affinity for classic Cape Cod houses along with a contemporary aesthetic inspired the making of this Southern California coastal home. While the exterior showcases traditional elements, the interior lends itself to modern living with a wide-open floor plan. Not far from the airport, this home experiences overhead airplane noise, so we incorporated smaller windows and exterior doors to mitigate noise pollution inside. Light and natural materials, skylights, and glass exterior doors emphasize the home’s bright and airy feel.
